PIMCO Canada is pleased to announce the launch of their PIMCO Fundamentals Client Education Seminars, a new monthly series taking place in the Toronto office. These courses offer our Canadian clients the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the industry's most widely used, least understood fixed income concepts and instruments. A few examples of the topics being covered are credit default swaps, negative basis packages, hedging duration, and foreign income sectors.
The sessions are intended to enhance the training of junior members of a pension department's staff and increase their overall comfort with fixed income investing.
